Affirmations are positive phrases or statements that you tell yourself to overcome self-sabotaging or negative thoughts about yourself. When you repeat affirmations and start to believe in them, you will often see a positive change in your life and mindset.
I encourage you to view affirmations not as “wishful thinking,” but rather, as a way to ward off negative thoughts and get in the habit of replacing them with positive thoughts. Affirmations can aid in healing in many areas of your life.
